As promised by Geoff Keighley ahead of the show, a new Among Us map was shown off during The Game Awards 2020. The 2018 mobile and PC game has had a huge year in 2020, and this new map shows that the game doesn’t intend to slow down anytime soon.
The map, coming in early 2021, is set aboard a floating airship and will be completely free. It gives you a choice of which room to start in among other new features, like ladders, new tasks, and more.

Among Us has been teasing this new map for a while. In September, developer Innersloth announced that it was canceling Among Us 2 in order to focus on the original, which had found success two years after it originally released. “All of the content we had planned for Among Us 2 will instead go into Among Us 1,” Innersloth wrote at the time of announcement.
Among Us has been so popular that even politicians are streaming it–Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez streamed the game for the first time in October, and it was such a success that she did it again a month later.
