Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game is coming to current-gen consoles, Ubisoft confirmed during its Ubisoft Forward event. The re-release, called the Complete Edition, is coming this holiday season to PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia. It will cost $15.
As it’s the Complete Edition, it will include all of the DLC from the original game. An extended trailer showed off the iconic pixel-based art style and chiptune music. You can play with up to four players locally or online, as well as compete in subspace mini-games like dodgeball.
Scott Pilgrim was delisted from both the Xbox 360 and PS3 digital stores in 2014. Fans have been requesting for it to come back, and it has gained momentum with hints from some people closely associated with the project.
Just earlier today film director Edgar Wright, who helmed the live-action adaptation, told fans to keep an eye on the Twitter feed of Brian Lee O’Malley, anticipating a likely announcement. Sure enough, O’Malley quickly tweeted about the news.
