Epic Is Giving Away 15 Free Games For Christmas Starting Next week

Epic already gives away free games every week, but starting next Thursday, you’ll be able to snag a freebie every day. To celebrate the holidays, the Epic free games program is kicking into high gear with 15 free games in 15 days. Epic ran a similar promotion last year featuring 12 free games. All you need to take part in the holiday giveaways is a free Epic account.

At this time, it’s unclear which games will be featured in the promotion. The first “mystery” game goes live on December 17 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET. If Epic follows the same formula as last year, we’ll know what the next free game will be a day in advance. However, there’s a chance each free game will be a mystery right up until it unlocks.

We would expect to see some great games in the promotion. Last year, wonderful indies such as Into the Breach, Celeste, Ape Out, and Superhot were included in the holiday promotion. Make sure to check back next week, as we’ll update this article with the freebies as they are revealed.

In addition to giving away free games, Epic will be hosting a holiday sale starting next week, which will likely be filled with steep discounts on hundreds of games.

In the meantime, don’t forget to snag the free games that are available until December 17. Right now, Epic is giving away two great Obsidian RPGs: Pillars of Eternity: Definitive edition and Tyranny: Gold edition.
