Call Of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Patch Notes Revealed (December 7), Free DLC AvailableA big patch for Black Ops Cold War is almost here, and you can read the patch notes now.

Just ahead of the launch of Black Ops Cold War and Warzone‘s Season 1 expansion, Call of Duty developer Treyarch has announced a new patch is coming to Black Ops Cold War very soon.

This newest game update will go live around 11 PM PT on December 7, and it includes a series of quality-of-life improvements, bug fixes, stability updates, and adjustments to weapons and Scorestreaks. The patch doesn’t contain any weapon buffs or nerfs, however.

The big change for weapons is that there is now more polish to the “visual kickback” when firing from the hip. Additionally, the updates fixes an animation issue with the Hauer 77 and it clears out a bug that could cause thermal scopes to not work properly when riding in a vehicle.

New options for traversal are unlocked in this update, too, as parachutes can now be used in all modes on the large-scale Crossroads and Armada maps.

Fans of the Zombies mode are getting some new with this update, as it introduces new teasers about the Season One update in “Die Maschine” and Onslaught. You can see the full patch notes below, as posted by Treyarch on its website.

As a thank you to fans for their patience regarding Season One’s delay, Treyarch is giving everyone some personalization items for free. All you have to do is log in to the game between 10 AM PT on December 8 and the start of Season One to claim these bundles:

Additionally, Treyarch has announced it’s adding a new playlist called “Motherland Moshpit” in the new update. It includes TDM, Domination, Kill Confirmed, and Hardpoint on the Moscow and Crossroads Strike maps.

For fans of the Nuketown map, the new version of it, Nuketown ’84, will remain playable in the Core and Hardcore playlists. Treyarch teased that the Nuketown 24/7 playlist is set for a return in Season 1 with a “special twist.”

Finally, there will be an extended double XP weekend for multiplayer and zombies that begins on Saturday, December 12 and runs through the start of Season 1–that’s a pretty nice window to earn double XP for weapons and levelling.

      Addressed an issue where players could be kicked for inactivity while spectating in round-based modes.

    Care Package
