Dragon Age, the next entry in BioWare’s beloved RPG franchise, has been shown off at The Game Awards 2020. The game, which was first shown at The Game Awards 2018, was revealed–and it seems that there’s no “4” in the name. The trailer, which shows no gameplay footage, reveals that the hero of this new game will not be a “chosen one”. Solas, a character that fans of the series will be familiar with, also pops up.
We’ll update with the trailer once it’s available.
A Dragon Age 4 reveal was teased ahead of the ceremony. It’s been six years since the last entry in the series, Dragon Age: Inquisition. BioWare has recently seen some staff overturn, with Casey Hudson (general manager) and Mark Darrah (Dragon Age: Inquisition executive producer) recently announcing that they’re leaving the studio.
